Silk Screening

Silkscreen printing is a technique where a press transfers ink onto clothing through a mesh screen, except in areas made impermeable by a blocking stencil. Depending on the mesh thread count and number of applied layers of ink, we can provide different levels of coverage to give a "washed out" vs thicker “bubble” look, as well print single and multi-coloured designs.

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread to a garment. We can embroider a range of items such as caps, toques, shirts, sweaters, jackets, and more. Embroidery is available with a wide variety of thread colour.

Appliqué can be used anywhere that a design calls for large enough filled area such as names and numbers on jerseys. When we use applique, we custom-cut a piece of applique fabric, usually polyester twill, to fill a large area with an embroidered design.  These pieces are applied to a garment during the process of embroidery. Our machines trace an area on the garment where the cut piece is to be applied, then after the piece has been placed with a small amount of tacking spray, the machine tacks down the edges with a zig-zag stitch. For those who prefer a very clean edge, a tightly spaced satin stitch then sews to completely cover the edges.

Sublimation is a process that uses heat to transfer dyes into the fabric. We use Large printers and specialty inks to print on transfer paper, which acts as a medium between the image and the clothing. Once the image is printed, we cut it out and take it to the heat press. After the image is transferred, it becomes a part of the fabric. It looks vivid and feels super soft. That's the difference between sublimation and screen printing. You can feel the ink and design with a screen print because ink sits on top of the fabric, sublimation actually transforms the fabric into the design.
